How to get a squirrel happy

As some of you might know, i was busy for about 2 months getting a new computer since mgf trashed mine.....
Yesterday i got an email from dell, and in short, they just screwed me over

I was so pissed off, that i browsed through the forums from my local towns to see if any computers where for sale

so, i'm now the proud owner of a pentium 4, 3,6 Ghz, 512 MDR, 220 Gig HardDisk, a kick *** vid card:ATI Radeon 9800Pro AGP(8x) 128MB, DvD/Cd both writer... everything cordless 21 inch Flatscreen


i saw this ad on a forum and called right away.. they asked about 1200 euro's for it and i managed to get it down to 925,-...
I think it is somewhat illegal, but to be honest, i dont give a rats *** about it

And congrats on your new hardware, sounds like it kicks some serious arse! :)

Done any tests, like 3dMark i.e ?

well, i had 2 months off every week phone calls with, this thing needs to be ordered, delays, something wrong in the database blablabla

then i got a email 2 days ago, that i hadnt replied within 2 months so the order had been cancelled... way to go Dell :rant:

i just installed Windows XP proffesional, rest will be installed and tested 2night... Sacred is downloading as we speak, far cry already bought so :D

It amazes me sometimes as to the shear stupidity of these large companies, you'd have thought they'd have got better as they expanded, but no. It seems to me that they try to achieve new and unbelievable levels of stupidity!

I bought something from a large company about a year ago, and paid for it in full, and i am still getting invoices (usually one a month) saying that i owe them £0.00. Now it's not a big deal to throw it away every month, but honestly......

But now most MP games are lagging even when using 2D mode :cheesy:

You just gave an inferiority syndrome to my P3-600 w/ 256MB RAM and 8MB integrated video. :grrr:
j/k, Congrats on the new comp! Now you just need to test how fast 200+ frw really is. :lol:

youve proabbly got a better Pc than if dell hadn't screwed you over, so think of it as a blessing in disguise. but 2 months with no PC woudl be very bad..

Im jealous - I was going to build myself a new PC this summer, but my car died, and my wife and I decided to splurge a little on the replacement, (it was only $10,000) so no comp for me :( - but at least she looks good driving around :)

Maybe next summer (by then it will be time to look for a house)

you didn't want a Dell anyway... they really suck! nice find on the deal on the new comp... pretty sweet pricing too with a monitor and all. legallity is all a state of mind anyway, right? :D
