How to execute it perfectly?

Hi, i've just started my Hammerdin yesterday, about lvl 22 now.
I have abit of problems executing the hammers when there are enemies.
Either the enemies are too near or too far from me when i execute it.
Just wondering, is there any guide to teach how u can hit enemies using the hammer accurately (100% hit) or mayb u guys do a bit of explaination?
Thanks for the replies in advance...

The hammers will always come out North-West of your character. Just practice practice practice.

Because pratice makes perfect you know. :uhhuh:

Whoever told you that was a fool. It's not logical at all. Practice-->Perfect? Try Perfect Practice-->Perfect.

Try

perfect practice = progress

Works the same on anything you are practicing... whether it be a hammerdin, a musical instrument, or whatever - it takes perfect practice to go anywhere... You cant just mess around. And dont bother saying perfect practice makes perfect cause that gets lazy people thinking that if they do it right a couple times it should be perfect - cause its always a stuggle to be perfect.

That's the most simple term. I could say practice=progress too, however. So what that really means is, perfect practice and practice have similarities (no kidding?)

Well I told your term to a great musician and got yelled at - so go figure. Basically if you practice right - you will get somewhere.

Well if you practice wrong you'll get somewhere too. Just not closer to where you want to be is all.

Well of course if you practice wrong you get somewhere... You are just going down a path of thorns and gun shot wounds rather than stone and marble. Plus, after practicing wrong it takes twice the right to get you out of bad habits

Edit: this convo is gettin a tad old now

i like to get baddies in a group, then, depending on the size of the group etc, i like to charge around the outside, in a square or triangle(shape doesnt matter just that there is movement, then points of stopping...then i cast hammers...then continue....

here is an example, you have a group of like 10 skeletons above you on the screen...run or charge all the way to the bottom right of the group, cast about 2-3 hammers, run to the upper right 2-3 hammers, upper left 2-3 hammers, bottom left 2-3 hammers...this makes a hammer field that makes sure you hit everything on the screen....i use charge to take out single monsters, as it is more effective...if the monsters start getting out of order, simply smite them back into a pack(level of smite doesnt matter really)

another tactic (after you have holy shield skill and decent gear) is to aim at the monster in the middle of the group, charge him, then thro about 3-5 hammers then charge out, if you cant charge out, once again use smite(again, any level is good) and smite your way out...

couple things that ive done that have worked rather well

I'll try that out..
Another very simple question is if you cast hammer, must u immediately switch to Concentration skill to add the damage of hammer?

Cast hammer with left click while concentration is "on" on the right click.
wow fast reply...
but... i dun really understand what it means by this sentence...
i though casting hammer is right click then concentration is changing the hotkey to the allocated concentration skill button
mayb u would like to explain abit on this?
Thanks for the trouble bro

Make hammer your left click skill instead of normal attack, then make concentration as your right click skill and shift+click to cast hammmers with conc.
