How slow is 7 frame fury?

Hi guys.

I've been looking at using a slightly different weapon (runeword, no +% IAS, phase blade) for my fury wolf and am rather disappointed at the 7 frame attack calculation showed using the stickied calculator.

This was even allowing for +95% IAS from non weapon gear and Lvl30 Werewolf. Will my choice of weapon really be that detrimental to my speed? I had thought that the other gear might save it slightly :cry:

Is 7 frames ridiculously slow? Anecdotally, will it feel sluggish to play (I'm PvM)?

Don't bother with the 95% IAS from non-weapon gear. Non-weapon gear on a wolf is a place to boost damage and survivability. I'd wager that your speed is the same without the OIAS(scurries off to the wep speed calculator). Additionally, unless you have nothing better to do I'd have not pumped WW so high. It just isn't worth it to me for a little more AR.

EDIT: Ok, so I was correct that with no IAS on your PB or on your other gear, and with level 30 WW your speed remains the same. That being said, 7 frames isn't terribly slow. It's actually going to be 7/5/5/5/5 frames, so your entire attack sequence takes a hair longer than a second. I personally would rebuild however, using a slightly faster wep and a much lower WW skill. It will make you more versatile in the end.

I haven't started the Wolf yet, so I'll keep your advice in mind. I like to check my stats before investing in a new character :smiley:

I don't think of 7 frame Fury as ungodly slow. Probably wouldn't want to go any slower, but it isn't bad.
