Short and sweet. I play 2 to 3 when I'm at sea (4 weeks at sea, 4 weeks home), and pretty much zero when I'm home.

I'm thinking average game time over a week.

Hours/week should be better. I tend to play like 30min weekdays and like 2-3 on Friday/weekends
Sometimes I can go 2-3 days without playing because of real life. I have a teenager and a 6 month old and 3 in between. Sometimes week days I can get a solid 2 hours in because everything works out.

If you averaged my time per day it would be 2 minutes per day over the last year, about once a month I get about an hour in.

I'm living away from my family during the week right now for work, so after my 10-12 hour shift, it's Diablo till bed!

That's like between 16-24 hrs a day on the 3 workdays. And between 24 and 48 hrs a day on the 7 days of the weekend. I'll let someone else do the math on the average, because posting here is coming out of my gaming time and i need to make up for the two minutes it already took me to post this!

Interesting to see :) really depends on how much you're interested at a given time though right? For me at least. For the last couple of months where I worked on my untwinked 99er and now with RFL going on, after work during the week has usually been D2 time. But given I often work really long hours (like until 10-11pm or sometimes later) and go straight to bed, it's hard to say. Maybe 2hrs per day average recently? Also, weekends are usually packed with doing a lot of RL stuff. But if they're not, it may well exceed 5-6 hours. On special occasions like last weekend for RFL start it's been some 15hrs from Friday to Monday. :)

Then again, months can pass without me even touching D2. So really hard to say on average.

Whichever way you look at it, we're basically a big addiction support group here, and we're not exactly helpful in that regard. :D

I went with 0 to 1, and that's for the week. My gaming time is limited and I cycle through a few favorite games. I really don't play much D2, but every now and then I have a little kick where that's my game of choice, and I get 1-2 hrs/day. I had one of those for a few weeks earlier this winter. I probably spend as much/more time lurking on the SPF than D2...

@Cyrax I always type my SPF posts with 1 hand as I'm making my way across Kurast Docks. You can only manage a few words per run. But, it's much better than sacrificing those game time minutes!

Elapsed time for this post 25 mins..
I can see that working when both things are done on laptop/desktop. My gaming nowadays on the other hand is usually on console which is located downstairs, while my pc used for browsing forums is upstairs. I may not be small, but i'm not big enough to be both upstairs and downstairs at the same time.

As far as this poll goes: Is this all game time or just D2 gaming? D2 has been a solid 0 for a while now. Overall gaming: 1 day of sports during the week so i only get about an hour in on those days. Then 4 other workdays i'm guessing ~3 hrs a day. So that's like 13 for weekdays. On weekends it depends a bit on how much chores i have, but i'm guessing that it could be as high as 8 hrs a day average. So 13 + 16 = 29 total. Divided by 7 days is 4-and-a-bit hrs a day, so let's round that down since i'm guessing a bit here. That would make me end up around 4 hrs a day on average. So depending on how well my guess work is i'm either in the 3-4 hrs a day category or just in the 4+ one.

Soon starting a new job which is slightly further away so i think i may loose 15-30 mins of travel time on work days so the average will be dropping slightly (after having had a massive increase with a 1 month holiday).

I don't play much anymore due to real life obligations. Now, I may spend less than an hour per day and sometimes less than an hour per week. One of the main reasons I got involved into SP trading.
