Yes, it is. You can upgrade an ethereal dimensional blade, I believe, and it will turn into an ethereal phase blade... still indestructable, however with ethereal properties.

Crescent moon would suit a tesladin much better because of the huge -35 enemy lightning resist, but of course theres no reason to not use it on a zealot

Uh, you can only upgrade rare and unique weapons, an ethereal socketed dimensional blade is not rare or unique, thus you cannot upgrade it.

Thats what I meant, and after reading over my post, I can see how that'd be weird.

I was indirectly talking about rares at the time...

My bad.

And the chance to cast static isn't as often as you'd think... I rarely see it enough to care about it. It's just a fast, effective weapon overall, mainly for a tesladin due to the awesome -% enemies lightning resistance... not to mention, it's indestructable, which is always a plus.

Phase Blades are indestructible by nature, but Crescent Moon the runeword is not. If you make CM in anything else it will lose durability...

I'm talking about a CMPB, not just a CM.

I made a CM in an ettin axe once for my conc barb as a mid-level weapon, and while it worked wonders, it needed to be repaired very often for a lot of gold. It wasn't worth it.

I wouldn't put CM in anything but a PB anyways.
