    How does this build sound?

    How does this build sound for mainly MFing?

    20 RS
    20 SM

    20 Poison Dagger
    20 Poison Explosion
    20 Poison Nova

    1 Amplify Damage
    1 Clay Golem
    1 Golem Mastery
    1 Summon Resist

    You need a few more 1 point wonders in the Curses tree.

    I would suggest cutting out a few (5 or so) points of one of the poison synergies and using them to get:

    Lower Resist and
    Decrepify

    Decrepify can take the bite out of a nasty boss-pack. Lower Resist can help you whenever it seems to be your novas, more than your skeletons, doing the main damage.

    You can do it with that posted build, help from party's on the bosses you hate and lots of wand +3 to a skill you want on demand via weapon switches, but add a few points to the 1 point wonders (personal choices made partially on equipment you can lay hands on) and you have the skills to leave more room in inventory for 7% MF charms.

    Another suggestion is to have summoning gear on your second switch while you have casting gear on your main.


    I would still stand by my point that having access to a varied arsenal of curses is far better than that 5 or so points in synergies you are going to miss out.

    More curses is better than some synergies, I stand behind Indemaijinj.

    Also do a little search. There are two or three threads covering this topic.

    Instead of taking them out of your main skills needed(the 3 poison one's), instead take them from Skeleton Mastery(should be finished last anyway) because Poison is the primary part of a Venomancer/Summoner Hybrid. And Skeletons are only there as 2nd form of attack anyway.

    Most of the time, my Poison kills the bad guys before my Skeletons have a chance to really get to them.

    read THIS and that should answer your questions.

    as mentioned:

    max mastery last
    get the 1 point wonders
    you may want to invest in lower res, you may not. i'd give it at least 1
    definately pre-buff your skellies

    lord. if you can't read guides, how do you play this game?
