how does ITD work in pvp?

i have been wondering this question for a while now and i would like to know it ITD works for pvp and how if it does.
for example, if a ww sin was to use firy as wep, would the ITD on that be useful at all, or will the sin have to rely on the -25% def mod also on the fury.
same for zealers or chargers, if they were to use grief, does the ITD on that make a difference?

any help would be much appreciated,
thanks

It doesn't. You'd need -200% target's defense to have ITD against players.

thanks a lot

but RTB, does that mean that ITD just means -100% def, so if i used 2x griefs on a barb or 2x furys on a sin because they would both have ITD i would get the -200% needed, or no?

sorry, i dont know much about pvp, ive focussed on pvm up until a little bit ago

Nope, ITD doesn't do anything. -x% defense does work, at 1/2 efficiency; that's where the 200% comes from. Impossible to get, though.

so, if i had 2 furys, the pvp penalty would totally negate both of the ITD's and reduce the total of -50% def from both the furys to -25%.
damn, i was hoping at least to get the -50% from the furys.

thanks a lot anyways,
i was dying to know this and i washoping not to have to post this thread, but i couldn't find the answer just reading posts.

No, you will get -12.5% for every weapon, not -25% total. It doesn't stack.
