How does hurricane work?

Does hurricane work kind of like meteor for the sorc, where so much damage is taken off per second? OR Does the druid have to constantly bring his hurricane radius into and out of a group of villains? I have never made a druid just curious how effective hurricane would be. thanks for the help.

Hurricane hits all monsters in range every 20 frames, that's once per 0.8 seconds.

Can hurricane and tornados do well in hell baal runs. Sounds like he would almost be as powerful as a hammerdin when taking down bosses. With the acivated cyclone armor it sounds like he would be a perfect candidate for teleporting to the wsk and bypass those mean souls. If you have any experience doing boss runs or and teleporting to the wsk, please include some input.

Not quite as good as a Hammerdin, but Tornados are huge damage, yes. Hurricane is more of a supplement, and Cyclone Armor is incredibly useful.
