How does a kicker work?

Well my brother likes kickers for some reason so I built him one. But I can't beat people with it in duels. I'm not the greatest dueler, but regardless I just don't see how it works. Even with the videos. If someone has a pvp kicker and wants to play vs my necro, msg *thepandafactor.

Yes, I did see that already, but even with only 86 fhr I tele out and hit a couple 5k bonespears. So I don't know, it's hard to know how to do sometihng unless you do it once or someone does it against you

You mean chain namelocking? Just position the mouse in the center of the screen, and leftclick right after your teleport casts. When you namelock tele off a namelock, you will *always* tele right on your opponent so you can re-namelock by just clicking on the frame right after the tele. Even if the opponent is in the middle of casting teleport there will be at least one frame (1/25 second) opening where you are on top of them and can renamelock. So its just a matter of getting the timing down, then you can chase down necros/sorcs and other stuff easy.

There are of course tactics casters can use to counter chain namelocks, things get a lot more complicated at that point, but for the most part it makes chasing casters a whole lot easier and most players dont expect it or know what to do against a kicker constantly on them with stun/shadowstacking and neverending chainnamelocks.


I made this vid a long long while ago back on east to demonstrate chain namelocking. A few failed chain namelock attempts followed by some successful ones, not a very good opponent or duel but I think this vid still serves as a good demonstration for player not familiar with the tactic:
