How do you usually handle high repair cost for runeword armors?

For Barbs, due to their melee combat nature, their gears tend to get damaged much more easily than other chars. Especially, if they are using a runeword armor such as Fortitude or Engima, the repair cost is extremely high -- about 20K+ gold for each durability repaired.

How do you usually handle this godly high repair cost? I'm gonna be broke after a few Baal runs... :cry: Thanks!

well, if it has sup dura the repair bill will be out the roof, in such case i simply wait till it is almost broken, then cube w/ ral for full repair.

just don't make your runeword in a superior armor with +dura......

It is not... it is superior, but only with +ED mod, not +dura mod... and it still costs >20k gold to repair each dura...

How much does it cost to repair zerker with grief or beast in? (didn't seem right to make a new thread just for this small question=) Have to decide wether to go swords (grief pb but no beast), or axes for my frenzyer. Obviously having orts around for each weapon is gonna be tedious hehe

for Ba´s the cost is like 10-12k with no ed..
with ed its something like 60k+++

I save rals for crafting caster ammys, doing a quick travincal run usually gets enough gold for repairs if you dont have a goldfind barb then probably have to sell the magic armors and stuff that drops too.

Seraph Rod (+7ED, +2Fanaticism, 3oS, Lawbringer, 17, 202)

This weapon is far too expensive for even a full bank CLvl99 and barely over half current durability. Either repair frequently or you'll have to spend a rune, and runes are so much more valuable in other uses.

I am just picking up a soso/necro rubbish weapons during baalruns. Sell it (usually 35k gold each) and than I can repair my nasty, gold-greedy Forti...

The repair cost is almost the same to repair my Sup Archon Plate Enigma, and my Sup Sacred Armor Enigma...

well 10-12k really isn't alot....that should be one trav run and maybe sell some items.....or I could just be spoiled with my gf nec.....

Actually, it is 20-30k per dura... and it costs me about 100k for each DKey run with my Barb...
