How do you land a good DoD Tri-whirl?

I'm just curious how people do this. I know there are lots of ways to do this well, but I want to know all the possibilities :tongue:

How do you move your mouse to achieve an effective tri-whirl?

here's how I do it: centre my mouse just below my barb before i tele (once i have them namelocked ofc), once i land switch to WW on RMB and draw a small, slightly canted, figure eight with the cursor while holding down RMB.

voila: tri-whirl.

ps: this can take a bit of practice

Tri-whirl = whirling around the target in a triangle way. :badteeth:

Well, I thought you can do it without Enigma... Where does teleporting fit into the picture, I don't get it

It's just that you use teleport to get close to most opponents. Of course you could trianglewhirl anything that just stands there, but since they wont you'll need tele to catch up.

Assuming namelock teleport I usually just whirl straight down or south west, then move my mouse to the right, then to top, then south west again all while holding down right mb for ww. If you don't namelock tele but instead just tele close to them (more efficient btw) you shouldn't whirl straight through them but instead clip them a bit on any side then continue whirling in triangular pattern.

I try to make sure that I don't get much further than the outline on my barb so I can keep my whirls tight. Just practice, practice, practice.

you can try practicing with a pot on ground, tele on it and do 3ww, after some practice you will be doing pretty good vs real opponents
