How do you know you have a Baal GC?

Hi, just curious. From what I understand you need maphack to know.

The other way is the suffix "of Vita" with 41 - 45 life. It can only spawn on grand charms with Ilvl 91 or higher.

If you find it on the floor after you've killed Baal
Unless it's a public game, of course.

If you find a charm on the floor after killing Baal (or if you find anything, for that matter) it means that either noone uses pickit (*very* unlikely), noone has his fast-cklicking-after-kill skills up to bnet standard levels (*extremely* unlikely), or someone has dropped his normal A1 bloodmoor charm there to fool people.

You dont need pickit to grab it all, I just frenetically click all over the place, and with lots of space in the inventory, you can grab the most before the pickit even noticed. They have a slight delay afaik, so the clicking can beat it!
(be aware that you must have lots of space in the inventory though, since you wont be able to avoid the crap in such short time) ALL OR NOTHING!

And back to the charms. There is no other safe way to see if its a baalcharm or not, unless you can see it drop or find the 41+life suffix.
And its not really worth cubing a charm looking for the suffix just to see if its a baalcharm or not. :)

yeah sometimes i pick up so fast people think i use pickit (in games where no one actually is using pickit). i got a 5% bk and everyone was pissed. =D

never heard of this pickit - used to sit and watch for a flash of gold or green, but realised i couldn't compete (now i know WHY). so, I began just randomly clicking (as someone above said). most times youll get blue or yellow, but you never know...

Well, I meant aside from the obvious. I traded for it and just trusted it was a Baal GC. I wanted to try rerolling it but wanted to be sure before I started. It came to me as a Barb combat skill charm, can this be rerolled for a higer level charm or is it always reroll equals lower level.

It's the point of the recipe that the item level is retained. The item level of an item does not say anything about its abilities, but about the abilities it could have (and which it might get when rerolling it). Anything dropped by Baal has an item level of 99, including cracked sashes and it will stay L99 when rerolling.

Just to be sure, the ilvl doesnt mean the required level correct. For example the current required level of the GC I have is 42, so it may reroll into a say required level 91 skill/vita GC? I think your previous quote already answered this question but I want to be sure. Thanks.

Yes, the level req is independent from the item level. As I said, a cracked sash (no reqs) will have an item level of 99 if dropped by Baal.

you dont know without seeing it being dropped by him or with maphack. that is actually the one and only worthy ability a maphack has, to see the item levels. why bliz didnt include it in the game, i dont know...

edit: about pickit, its actually the most annoying hack there is... nothing beats the feeling of standing next to a soon-to-die baal with 4 other guys, seeing him die while you hold alt down and see a flash of gold... but too short to tell what item it was :)
