How do you get a +9 to es staff?

How do you get a +9 to es staff?

Hi, I've read a lot of the ES based builds and I'd like to build one. Just don't know how to get the +9 to es staff. Is it bought from Akara or is it a runeword?

Oh, and how much are lightning skiller charms worth with life mods on them?
Normal lightning skillers are um rune right?

You need a normal staff with +3 to ES. Then socket it with 4 sockets, then put the Memory runeword in it to get +3 ES from staff, +3 all skill lvls and +3 ES from Memory.

O I C, is that normal +3 to es staff upgradeable to four sockets by Larzuk or do you have to find it like that?

You can socket by Larzuk, provide the ilvl of the staff is high enough... if you find anywhere in hell you should be ok for sure.

Oh i c. But does the staff name have to be white? or can it be blue too? And can you give me the approximate ilvl? :drool:

it has to be white since its a runeword going there

hey, ehm, why talk about ilvl & sockets?
i remember that in .09 & previous patches stuff found in norm/nm had chance of less sockets but now i've socketed ilvl1 items & they all got max amount of sockets

last item i socketed was a damaged light plate i "repaired" with cube recipie to get normal light plate with 9x def & that gets ilvl1, went to larzuk, socketed & i got 3 sockets (max on light plate) so i'm guessing ilvl has nothing to do with nr of sockets u get, unless somebody can show me an item he socketed & didnt get max sockets :scratch:

That's because a (ilvl 1) light plate can have 3 sockets
