How do you find the best possible wand for white wand?
Does anybody know what the max possible skill stats are on a nonmagic Necro wand? I'm assuming stuff like Golem Lord's is a prefix for the magic that gives you a huge bonus to summoning so +3 to a given school seems unlikely with a normal wand, but is it possible to get a normal with +1 to all necro skills and then something like +3 to Bone Spear? A White wand made from that would rock my Necro.
Also, I've noticed that at a certain point, you can't seem to find nonmagic wands in shops anymore. Anybody know where the magic number is where you still see the occasional nonmagic wand with much better stats than you could expect at around level 27? My 55 Necro sees only magic and my lvl 27 sorceress hasn't spotted anything good enough at the shops yet, although the occasional +3 skill normal wand did show, just not one that I would want. Anybody have an idea of what the best level is for searching for good nonmagic wands?
Whether or not a normal wand is socketed is kind of irrelevant to me since I think I could make do without such a ridiculous white wand until I get the socket reward in Chapter V on normal. I'm pretty sure I've seen normal wands with +3 bonespear before and I've also seen normals with +1 to all, but not sure if the normal +1 to all wands had any other skills or if they even could. Do they ever get school specific skill bonuses like the magic ones do? +1 or 2 with bone/poison as well as a +3 to bonespear would make for a ridiculous white wand.
Also, I get the impression the max sockets on a regular or yew wand is only 1. Anybody know for sure?
