that depends on the router 
Basically open port 4000 (that is what D2 uses for TCP/IP) or port forward it to your computer. Then find out what your "real" IP is (do a search on the google for My IP Address). Then host a game using TCP/IP and post your IP in the MP games thread and watch us all join

how do I open the port????
it does depend on the router - let us know the make and model and we may be able to help you.
Most Linksys routers allow you to access the router using ftp://192.168.1.1 - I thinkn (plug that into your address bar in Internet Explorer). You need to enter you password to gain access (i belive default is admin) - then you go to the advanced tab and there should be a tab dealing with port forwarding - just forward port 4000 to your computers ip (in the start menu go to run, type cmd. then when the prompt comes up type ipconfig to see what your ip is - it should be something like 192.168.1.100 or 192.168.1.106.
