How do I make the candycane looking poitions?

Hey guys, I was wondering how i can get the candycane looking potions that I have seen on many screenshots in the past. Are those created in the cube? Are they only available in certain Acts or what? Any help would be great, thanks guys!

..Candy Cane potions? The only potion that I can think of, that you might be referring to, is the Greater Healing/Mana and Super Healing/Mana. Greater Healings/Mana can be purchased in Act 4, on normal difficulty, and anytime upwards (unless your below a certain level, somewhere around 25 I think). Super Healings/Mana can be purchased sometime during Nightmare, I believe (never really noticed).

Unless you meant something else? Do you have a link to one of these screenshots?

Orphan is right, though im not sure either when the super potions come in for sale.
You should see greater healing/mana potions drop from some monsters even in act2 normal iirc. (like superuniques, bosses etc)

Super Healing/Mana potions (if d2x, I think) are available in Hell difficulty, all acts.

Greater and down in nm, all acts, and above

Norm a1 is minor, a2 is light, a3 is standard, a4 is greater, a5 is greater.

The potion that you get from Alkor for doing the first quest in Act III is multi-hued...not that any of our resident rush-meisters would recognize it.

Twisted, are you writing about the potions with a bunch of horizontal stripes? The stripes correspond to the quality of the potion: Super Life/Mana, the best ones, have 4 stripes. You can find them in NM (and maybe late in Normal?), and you can buy them from vendors in Hell.

*Buy* potions? Super healing/mana drop left and right from monsters; the ground should be soaked with them. Full rejuvs seem to be slightly less common, but there's still plenty of them dropping --- still, if I decide to use a potion I usually use a super one, since I can pickup a new one right away to keep the belt full (funny enough, I carry 2 columns of full rejuvs and only one each of super healing/mana... the merc usually gets a rejuv when in trouble).

IIRC the same recipe used for gems also works for potions: three of a kind make one of the next higher grade. Definitely works for rejuvs; I don't remember ever cubing healing or mana potions.

The only potions that I know of that; appear that way were in Diablo 1. That potion was the reward for a 2 part quest. There are still quite a few of those pictures around.
