How do I get one of these neat Pal icons

This might be a forum newb question, but how does one become a "pal" around here, bronze, silver, or otherwise?

Does it involve that "support dii" tab and donating money? (which I am more than willing to do, and plan on, for as much info/entertainment as this site offers me.)

Or Post count? (Spamzilla, raaaaaaaaaaaaaar!)

Or is it just haning out until a mod sees how cute I am? :love:

Any (in depth) advice is certainly appreciated.
