How can I improve my smiter?
My smiter is on ladder. I do alright vs. melee but casters seem to tear me up and it's like I lose more duels than I win.
Things I know I need to work on
More combats (Only have 1
)
Get a CTA
Level
Better CoA
My stats are around here at level 82
175 Str (130 base)
120 Dex (Enough for max block)
340 Vit
25 Energy (base)
1.4k Base life
2k Smite (Not counting Astreon dmg or e/d from Duress)
2k-2.5k Charge with 6k AR
23k Defense
63% Crushing Blow
68% Open Wounds
45~ Deadly strike with charge
24% DR
68/75/75/68 Resists
20 Smite, 20 Fanat, 20 Holy Shield, 20 Defiance, rest into Charge. One Salvation and one all prereqs.
Gear is this
4/71 Astreon (Shael'd)
Duress Archon Plate (1.3kdef or so)
2/27/10 CoA (Until I get a higher DR one, both sockets open)
Upd HoZ (Um'd)
Highlord's Wrath
Dracul's Grasp (10/15/9 or something)
40/14 Verdungo
202/20 Raven Frost
4% BK
Gore Riders
1x Combat, 10/20/10 Anni, rest res all or 19+ life scs.
It seems like any necs/windys/hammerdins **** me, as well as a lot of sorcs. The other best smiter on ladder kills me in like 2-3 hits, and it seems like I take maybe 7 hits to kill him.
