how can i get 4 socketed demon crossbow from socket quest?

if the max socket number on a demon machine is 5, and the socket quest always give you the max number of sockets, then how do i get a 4 socketed demon crossbow from the quest?

you cannot, you must find a demon xbow that already has 4sockets.
