How can i gamble <lvl 18 war java's/short spears?

How/where can i gamble lvl 18 war javelins/short spears ? Can't seem to find them anywhere :|

This is the best affix calculator IMO.

Select the item class and the item and click on "show affixes". On the next page, enter an item lvl of let's say 40 and check the level reqs of the affixes shown. The "level" column does NOT show the ilvl, but the affix level (alvl) ! To find the optimum ilvl, reduce it in the edit box until the first important affixes with a level req of 18 or lower disappear. Each gambled item should have at least that ilvl, so do it with a character who is 5 levels higher than that ilvl.

the best Ilevel is 3 , then i only have lvl 18 reqs except for some affixes... So i need a lvl 38 char. Last question: Where can i shop the war javelins because i checked @ serveral gamble npc but not a single one sold me a War javelins, only normal ones...

I think you need to be lucky in order for the normal javelin to turn in to exceptional.

You probably mean 33 here.

Regarding shopping, the ilvls are 5 higher than your char level then, so if 33 is the optimum level for gambling, then it's 23 for shopping.

Javelin class weapons are in the "misc" tab of the shopping screen. I saw war javelins in the inventories of normal and nightmare Anya and I guess that other vendors with javelin class items have them as well, at least those in normal and nightmare.

When gambling, the chance for an item to be exceptional depends on the character level. As that's the deciding factor in this case, the optimum level to gamble non-normal items is 99. That seems to have been overlooked so far, but the info on affixes might be useful anyway :azn:.
