How 'bout them Lightning?

Hello all. I had to take a break from the forum for a bit for personal reasons (as if any of you remember me with my newbie 200 post count :cheesy: ).

The time has come to resurface. And what do you know? Just in time to see the Tampa Bay Lightning SWEEP the "Habs" in Montreal! This team is doing so good in the playoffs...the defense is absolutely amazing. It will be a lot harder against Philly or Toronto, but I still think that the Lightning are going to make it to the Stanley Cup Finals, and hopefully win!!!1!!11one!!!111

Oh, and the Bucs are doing very well this offseason. Picking up quality o-line talent, drafting a future WR star, and picking up Ian Gold, a stellar linebacker. Tampa Bay Football and Hockey are doing great!

Just wanted to express my happiness. And to say that I'm back :clap:

Yes Sir! Just got accepted to FSU a few days ago. I'm in the process of getting orientation set up. Are you still going to be at FSU this fall, or are you graduating? If you're still gonna be around we could meet up and maybe organize a "Southeast OTF Gathering." I think that'd be great.

People on this forum are awesome. Very kind and most people remember you, even if you don't post all that much. Awesome.

I remember there used to be Single Player Forum Gatherings, I haven't stopped in there in a while, so I don't know if they do them anymore. The last one I remember was at Niagra Falls. I think Gatherings would be a fun thing to do, if only I was older and was allowed to disappear with a large lump of money for a few days...

It would be awesome to get people together. We could meet up at Destin, if you guys like beaches. I *hear* it's the best beach in Florida. Or we could just meet up in good ol' Talahassee (spelling?) and chill out. Or somewhere up the east coast. I don't care where it is. Lucky start saving buddy! Or just sell items you get from internet computer games on ebay.

Throw out some suggestions if you are interested, people.

why can't the friggin avs get eliminated already? they play at the same time as the wings on saturday and they will televise the avs game because the Sharks are a california team, STOOPID SHARKS!!!

that said, I've always liked the Lightning, well, always as in, since their '96 series vs the Flyers

Incorrect. Simply incorrect.

Barry Melrose is a jerk. He doesn't give the Lightning the respect they deserve. Yea, we have to earn it, but I *think* getting the #1 seed in the East (where many of the playoff teams went above 100 points for the regular season) and beating the Isles 4-1 and sweeping the *precious* Habs deserves some sort of recognition.

Oh and Rafty. Yea you said it once already, I came back and left again, lol. I'm back on a more permanent basis now. You'd better believe I'll be there on September 9. How do you like the moves my Bucs made? Getting a revamped O-line, a great WR in the first round, the speed Joey Galloway, and Ian Gold is not too shabby, either. I can't wait for this year.
