How about some Starcraft 2?

Starcraft 2 has been officially announced at Blizzards worldwide international, who will join me in 3 more years of waiting for d3, more fun than 1.09, i promise

Blizzard had their chance to live up to Starcraft with the release of WC3.
They failed.
I don't expect any better this time around.
I'm sure it'll be a fun game, just not Starcraft.

I'll still buy the game, do whatever I can to play a pirated beta, and have fun, but I don't expect to be playing it 10 years later like I am with SC.

Mouse wiz hit the nail with the Wc3 comment.

WC3 hit the ground running, then tripped and fell down a flight of stars as far as my interest was concerned. People forget there were 1.5 million copies of D2 ordered before it was even released, D3 would have done way more than that.

But personally, i'll buy it and play it, but won't be up at 3am saturday morning learning SC2 strategies or anything--

I'm a bit disappointed that it wasn't D3, but I can at least thank God that it wasn't anything WC related. WC has never managed to hold my interest, and I think that far too much work has been soaked into a mediocre story and game.

Money talks, though, and it seems to say something different than me.

Here's to three more years of waiting. Remember: Evil never dies.

Just so long as the two are not related! Diablo's played in a format that I've grown to know and love, and if they WoW it up, I'll die a little inside.

Glad to know I'm not the only one that COMPLETELY HATES how WoW.

It totally killed the gameplay when they made everything BIG. Seriously, who wants to see 4 units take up the entire screen, and no, zooming out does not help things.

I'm aware of the fruitlessness of guessing at this, but I just have an eerie feeling that this doesn't bode well for whatever's going to happen with Diablo 3. =S

It's good to see that they'll upgrade battlenet a bit.

Hopefully it's not as lag prone as the SC now is.
