Hotkey layout discussion, for Hammerdins

I have played a welfare hammerdin for some time now, and I am getting quite used to my "strange" hotkey layout. The one I use is similar to arcade pads:
S = Blessed Hammer
x = Concentration
D = Charge
C = Vigor
V = Teleport
I have to hold down shift while playing this way.

LAYOUT - 1
This setup allows me to desynch much since I always charge with vigor on. I normally charge 99% when I am in pubs. I chase down casters with charge + vigor. Then I namelock with right mouse button (Vigor), then I can delay my teleport, and press V (Teleport) when I want, then hammer away. Otherwise I can charge+vigor, then teleport with a slight delay. Namelocking with teleport alone.

LAYOUT - 2
I am starting to doubt the overall effectiveness, even though I think I do fairly okay, with LAYOUT - 1.
If I used a hotkey layout with charge on right mouse button, I cannot charge with vigor on. Though this layout lets me teleport after charge without that little delay.

I am asking if anyone has any information or experience, regarding LAYOUT - 2, since I have only tried this for some time today.

Thanks in advance

Layout - 2 is probably best when used against caster as it offers an auto-aim namelock through charge.

I rarely use layout - 2 because:
1. I'm not used to it
2. I don't like charging with right-click.

Probably explains why I sucked :-/

Layout 2 also desyncs less, though it does have its merits.
Mine is:
a=charge
s=vigor
d=smite
f=medit
z=hammer
x=conc
c=tele

The principles are the same as yours

I screwed around a little yesterday, concerning LAYOUT - 2. I wasn't satisfied with it, I duelled my friends bonenecro. I found those delayed teleports to be necessary. I still want opinions from other hammerdin-fanatics, since some may use a layout that is superior to mine.

hmm i don't know if my hotkeys are any use cuz i use mage buy my layout is as followed;

q= charge on left
w= vigor
a=hammer
s=conc
d=tele
f=unsummon
z=foh
x=convic

but bassically from q to d are my hammer controls.

the delay idea which is better as u can catch most chars off guard with the trick so for me i would pick the layout one.

Also vigor does help alot to desync and usefull in pubs.

Heres what i use takes a bit of time to get used to im one of the better hammerdins on useast nonladder Character name would be Judicator

Pinky always held on shift

Charge s
Hammer d
Concentration f
Vigor Spacebar
Teleport x

Those are the main hotkeys I use all 16 hotyekys on my hammerdin, those are the main ones the rest are personal preference.

So here is what you do.

Pinky Shift Always <--
Ring Finger on S
Middle Finger On D
Index Finger on F
Thumb on Spacebar

X is teleport so just use your middle finger for that works very quick when you get used to it, also if you look and your finger they are on every desync hotkey right beside each other. I don't know if you will like this put I just thought i'd share some info.

Holding down on shift is a bad-idea. You can set it to toggle which is much better in my opinion.

For me it isn't really an issue, since I am used to playing fighting games on an arcade pad. Whereas my pinky (finger) is holding down shift, I can easily press the combinations needed.

A-Hammer
S-Concentrate
D-Teleport
Z-Charge
X-Vigor
Q-Weapon Switch
W-Unsummon
E-Redemption(PvM) Cleansing(PvP)
R-Holy Bolt
F-Oak Sage
F3-Holy Shield
F5-Battle Commands
F6-Battle Orders

Since I put points in prayer, I effectively heal teammates and myself by hitting the R+E combo. Z+X for vigor, charge, and A+S for hammer, conc. This makes switching between the two easy. Also, switching from tele to conc is very, very easy. F is used as Oak Sage, but you have to set it everytime you die. Holy shield isn't normally recasted, and neither is bo/bc. But I find it easy to find f5/f6 as it's near the gap between f4 and f5.
