meteorb sorc.. my experience so far.. and whether i intend to run them again.. mostly hell..

pits are good if you can persist and try.. it can drop amazing items.. but not the quickest runs.. but will try them time to time..
ancint tunnels if you have good MF.. quick runs.. worth a few try..

among bosses.. duriel sucks big time.. i wont even try him though i can reach him quickly and finish him quickly..
mephisto, though everyone praises him, has been avg to me.. teleport all the way for quick fight.. will try him from time to time..
andariel toatlly rocks.. ive got lots of good stuff from andy.. very quick fight.. can easily play players 5 mode or so.. will try andy everytime i start a new game.. :yep:
diablo and baal (nm only so far) are good but lots of busy work to reach them.. will try them a few time..:creep:

nihiltalak and pindle.. havent played them in hell.. but heard they drop good.. i usually run pindle about 30 times before i finish nihiltalk quest as the portal will be up only then and itll take me very small time/run.. after that ill try them occasionally..

and cow level.. i alway kill the cow king in first attempt.. if you want to run them i think its worth it..

for me its meph and the pits...once meph dopped me 2xstorms in a week. hes also dropped me arachnids mesh and a boatload of other good stuff. from the pits i find lots of good whites and even some elite uniques. if your looking for uniques/sets i would do meph. for whites and stuff that meph cant drop do the pits.

Something you need to note is the immunities on monsters in each of these places. If you're single tree like blizzard sorc, pit is nigh impossible.
If you're dual tree you can basically go anywhere but any of the above mentioned places is good.

Pits is amazing if you can get a private group going.

If not, bosses drop better. Ideally you should run Baal if you can because he can drop absolutely anything. (So can the pit bosses but they're less likely to) But he is a hard boss compared to mephisto and even diablo at hell mode.

Baal himself is not really hard to do alone. Basically with your choice of build you tele right beside him and blast him with your spells and let the merc distract a bit. Baals melee attacks are wimpy and the one spell he uses to push you back or drain mana can be coutneracted by staying near a wall or the sides of the bridge. strangely at least in my runs he will usually nt cast the life draining curse from spells on me but rather the other curse for melee chars.

The rather bigger challenge alone is getting down to the Throne (big FCR meaing either 63% rfcr or even better 105%fcr and maxed lightning res help)
and then killing of the minions, though if you can manage you can also just lure them out of the throne room.

Certainly Baal takes longer to run then either Andy, meph or Pindle.

Wow, great tip! I'm gonna try that wall thing out. I hate getting shoved around by him. Thanks!

FYI: that life draining curse from spells...I think he's not casting because you have more life than mana? I think that's what I've heard.
