Horadic Cube?

Hi everyone - I'm new to this game and new to the forum. I usually play historical wargames but I thought I'd try something different. I'm still on the first quest as a Barbarian. Question is: how do I get a horadic cube? Do I have to build one out of objects I find or do I find one on the ground or what?

Also - the most annoying thing about the game so far is constantly having to go back to camp to unload your stuff all the time - how do you handle that? One of those cubes would help I guess. Pretty addictive game. Thanks for the help.

There are two places where you can find a Horadric Cube: Halls of the Dead and Travincal. If you already have a cube in your inventory it won't drop again. One cube can be found in a sparkling chest, the other from something that once was a human.

Generally at the start u will want to pick most things up to sell em, for cash This wont last for too long, as once u have a couple of thousand dollars this should be all you need at the start.

Later on u will start to only pick up blue armors which you can sell for good money back in town, and you can probably carry around 4 of them.

The only other things worth picking up are "Sorceress Orbs" "Necromancer Wands" and "Paladin Sceptors" these all can sell for good dollars.

I wouldnt worry about picking up anything else like swords, shields, helmets, unless they are gold in colour ( unique )

Any items with charges on them should sell quite good too..

Also, always carry around a tome of townportals also known as tps, and a identify tome.

This is assuming you are playing Diablo 2: Expansion set.

If not pick up the yellow items and at first just try to get wands and staves and armors for the gold. You can always use the gold for some gambling could get you nice items to lvl with.

Thanks guys - very helpful. I've got like 45,000 in gold so I'm going to quit picking up everything - just the objects you recommended.

well, if he just started, he should pick up rares (yellow) and id them to see if theyre better than what hes using. There are a lot of rares out there better than the low level uniques you find at this point in the game.
