Holy Freeze affects on IAS?

Hello,

I have been doing some pvp smiting, where it is common for your opponent to turn on holy freeze until it hits and slows you, then they switch back to fanta and start attacking.

My question is, is it possible to overcome the affects of holy freeze with stacked IAS?

If so what is the formula to figure out how much IAS would be needed to overcome the slowing of holy freeze?

yes you can overcome,
say the guy has 1 pt in hf, and +15 skill from gear that is lvl 16 hf which slows by 53%, so if you have 53% above your last ias bp your smite speed will stay the same

HF is negative skill IAS, so you need more than 53% from gear. Realisticly it's very difficult to overcome.

Hey i just did some calculations and I found that with a perfect Grief pb and a level 27 fanat on being hit buy a level 16 hf using mainaman's number as a basis an extra 75% ias is needed not to be slowed down at all, doable but not easy

And just because I could with the same gear/level of skills I mentioned at top you need 65% extra ias to nullify decrepify

So basically if you got hit with both you are STUFFED

Yeah but that also depends on what you believe to be bm or not and if you don't like doing that sort of thing (even if your opponent does) then its a very valid point
