Hmm. Baal will not spawn minions problem.

Seems Baal has figured out a way to defeat me. By not letting me fight him. I have killed everything in the ToD but Baal refuses to spawn minions. This irks me because these are EXP runs done on /play 8. I get most of my EXP per run killing the minions. Though I kill Lister on /P 4, and Baal on /P1. I hear this happens now and then and there is nothing you can do but save & exit.

Yes, this is a bug. Probably won't be fixed until the next patch, if it ever comes along. Save & exit is your only basic solution, but tp'ing back to town sometimes also solves it.

yes its a bug that came with the 1.10 patch as far as i can say.

never had it happen in 1.09 atleast.

sometimes it can be cured by taking a tp to town but mostly you can only save and exit

Are you playing a necromancer? I read elsewhere that this bug is associated with using a spell that blocks minions (like Bone Wall). Supposedly, even when the spell wears off or is defeated, for some reason the game still thinks the block is there and keeps the minions from appearing.

I am using Necro but I never use bonewall. I just exited and restarted. Coming back from killing other quest chars did nothing. He'd just laugh and cast decrep on me.

sorry about that - to be honest i'm sick and tired of being run all the time - you know how many times i've have to fight you people? sometimes i just need a break... if i don't spawn any minions - just take it as a sign that i need a nap and go away! thank you.

Sometimes this has happened in our MP games too. It may help if you leave the Throne room for awhile and then come back

I've never seen it in 1.10, but had it happen in a 1.09 MP game once. Leaving and coming back did eventually get by it, but for exp runs you'd probably be better off just restarting, time wise.

Then may I suggest hiring some better-quality minions? They don't make evil henchmen like they used to... c'mon, you shouldn't have to put up with the leftovers of the previous four Acts!

Happeded to me a few times, I would go kill everything else in the throne room, and go back to town and come back, always solve the problem, for me anyway.
