Hi, WoW?

Alright.

I just made an night elf hunter, so if you ever want to play, please let me know.

I've also added you to my friends list.

My character name is Huntÿ (for the y you need to press Alt + 0 2 5 5 on the number pad)

Ya so its not letting me put in the funny looking Y on my laptop so you will just have to invite me to a party when I get online or whisper me or something then I can add you.

That's cool.

Edit: Nice meeting you. Tomorrow I should be around your level (13) if I play through the night. Then maybe we can quest, or do what ever you want to do.

To enter ASCII characters by using the Alt + (a number) trick it is required that you use the Num Pad to enter the numbers... Hence it's not possible to do on a laptop. I learned this from trying to do Spanish homework on my laptop

/useless fact

Lots of laptops have a numberpad on the keyboard, you just need to press some button to access it, kind of a combination button between shift and numlock >.>

Do note though, that you can, and eventually will, be made to change your name with such a character name on WoW. You'll piss off some kid, that kid will report you, and the GM will be like "sorry, gotta change your name".

It's retarded that they allow for such characters on the creation screen if they aren't going to let you use them in the game =/

Oh. That's dissapointing. Well, when the time comes I guess I'll change it.

As a former WoW gamer, I can attest that the game is quite time consuming.

I got WoW in the 1st place because some of the Misfits that I gamed with on D2 started playing the game, while others went to GW. :jig:

I enjoyed the game, playing it for over 1 year. I was on Illidan - PvP Server and it was usually maxed with crazy que lines just to join the server.

The last guild I was in; Trick Model, was quite enjoyable but definitely time consuming since we were a raiding guild. We were running Molten Core (MC), Onyxia and just started Black Wing Lair (BWL).

My main char was a 60 Tauren Hunter, Tekmatek and I also had an Undead Priestess, Salestrina who was 43 when I stopped gaming. Of course I had several other chars that were lower lvls.

Enjoy the game for what it is....
hehe the queues were pretty bad for a time there.. ya know though, I cant say Ive sat in any kind of queue what so ever in the past year on Illidan. With the introduction of server xfers and all that it really seemed to take a big load off the servers.

WoW is tons of fun for me.. in my opinion its probably the best game Ive ever tried. I actually have to moderate my play time as best I can also so as to not let it rule my life like D2 used to do because it can easily become an obsession if youre not careful... There is just a never ending supply of things to do.

Only two of the old Isle of Misfit guys and gals (one being myself) are still playing on Illidan as far as I know.. most of the rest of the gang transfered over to the Garithos server to get away from queue times back when they were getting bad.

edit: just noticed after such a long time away.. when did they erase my many thousands post count and start over? :p

The forums crashed a few weeks ago, due to a power supply problem where the forums are housed. This screwed up the database and caused several problems, in the end, everyone's post count was reset, we all lost some.
