Hi, WoW?

My neighbor plays a lot of WoW and as much as I would love to get it, I will simply drool and watch, but not for reasons such as cash or computer etc, but because I would actually like to have a life. I hear things such as going to parties, meeting girls, and going outside are pretty cool and I'd love to keep doing these things as well.

Although when I retire, all I will do is play video games, get wasted everyday, and simply let myself go....only 50 more years....

But hey, pick your poison...I'll stick with booze

At least the video games will be better by then.

Hello my lovelys I haven't been playing diablo for the past week, school, and other stuff is more intriguing. I'm going to best buy today and get the little 5 dollar disk of wow 10 day trail i think and i'm going to be on wow pm me your char name and servar and maybe we can play <3 jugs.

As a former WoW gamer, I can attest that the game is quite time consuming.

I got WoW in the 1st place because some of the Misfits that I gamed with on D2 started playing the game, while others went to GW. :jig:

I enjoyed the game, playing it for over 1 year. I was on Illidan - PvP Server and it was usually maxed with crazy que lines just to join the server.

The last guild I was in; Trick Model, was quite enjoyable but definitely time consuming since we were a raiding guild. We were running Molten Core (MC), Onyxia and just started Black Wing Lair (BWL).

My main char was a 60 Tauren Hunter, Tekmatek and I also had an Undead Priestess, Salestrina who was 43 when I stopped gaming. Of course I had several other chars that were lower lvls.

I play mostly on Eonar ~ Alliance ~ PvE, but I also have a couple characters on Aegwynn ~ Horde ~ PvP, because the Bananas are there.

Hey have any of you been having trouble getting on your main server? This is the 2nd day I have been stuck on the retrieving character list screen. I went to the forums over there to check out whats up and like a bazillion people are having the same problem and they are PISSED lol.

Just be prepared not to lvl to 70 in 3 days, for new person probly take about 6 months..... thats if u play on and off and not every single day....

and what i noticed that its about 50/50 of ppl helping or calling u a noob, so just be prepared... its fun, but life consuming and boring all mixed into one

Well the situation @ the moment is most likely - since it's the end of the President's week-off from school the school kids are trying to log on to the servers to get as much play time b4 they have to return to their class schedules and such. Therefore you will be waiting for server to load up. That's the only drawback to a game that has several million subscribers... even though they added more realms/servers - they will eventually fill up sooner or later. :wink2:

Also I'm sure on the weekends - you will find more time waiting depending on how many folks belong to specific realms.

Ahh they were fixing it. It was something with our ISP. Cox/Sudden link. Everyone with these in the south west and Las Vegas had the problem. Theres like a 80 page complaint thread at the forums over there lol.

Keaton!, don't play WoW! It takes the life out of people, I watched it happen to my sister. She was hooked on that game and played it for hours every day for over a year. I actually played it a bit myself and it is a pretty good game, I just couldn't invest the time to be competative in it. In order to be good at that game, be prepared to play ALOT! Anyways just thought i'd share my thoughts about it.

Billy, holy crap it's been a long time!

Anyway I have three main toons above 60. Baalos and McMule are Alliance on Malfurian and Slitheren is an undead rogue on Alleria. My average play time is about 3 hours/day. Beats the hell out of watching Trading Spaces.

I've always been fascinated with Hardcore, I just never could get a character up past 20. Oh well, Guess it wasn't my calling!

Anyways I just bought World of Warcraft, and I'm interested in playing with some of you. I left it on overnight last night and finally got all the patches installed, etc.
