My neighbor plays a lot of WoW and as much as I would love to get it, I will simply drool and watch, but not for reasons such as cash or computer etc, but because I would actually like to have a life. I hear things such as going to parties, meeting girls, and going outside are pretty cool and I'd love to keep doing these things as well.
Although when I retire, all I will do is play video games, get wasted everyday, and simply let myself go....only 50 more years....

hey im on executus and char names of holymedic and coldevil...it should be at medium server size...it should also be recomended...i like it...i mean...havent found anything wrong with it : /
EDIT: and yes...it takes up a boat load of time...like its rediculus...damn school keeping me away from it

I know some people might be good with it and have self control and moderation, but I know how I can be with videogames and Diablo was a perfect example as well. Just think how addicted you were when you first started playing and were learning everything and then times that by a 1000 when talking of WoW.
That was me in 9th grade. I pretty much failed all my core classes because of guild wars and Diablo II.
So now I only play on weekends :S

You already propably know but pick a PvP-server. When you get bored of the PvE, you can always go gank lowbie allysrop:
Besides, most alliance racial traits blow.
Sapped gnomes don't say no. Or in my case, feared gnomes don't say no. :thumbsup:

Pretty much why I quit wow, when I play MMO's it's all or nothing. Have to put the time in to be the best or not play at all. And when I was playing, pretty much cross server domination, *flex*. But now that I cant put the time into it, it was just time to quit. There's something about coming home from working and school and feel like having to sit there for 8+ hours to raid or pvp or just grind whatever just to get something done, that irks me.
And to the above poster, gnomes have some of the best racials, especially now that escape artist is instant. Undead's racial only get you out of fear and mind control, but escape artist...wow the possibilities! Get out of hamstring, frost nova, frost shock, earthbind, crippling poison, roots, chilled, etc etc. Wow!:grin:

Keaton!, don't play WoW! It takes the life out of people, I watched it happen to my sister. She was hooked on that game and played it for hours every day for over a year. I actually played it a bit myself and it is a pretty good game, I just couldn't invest the time to be competative in it. In order to be good at that game, be prepared to play ALOT! Anyways just thought i'd share my thoughts about it.
WoW is a great game indeed. I started playing 2 years ago, shortly after it went live. Played for a good year, got into a raiding guild, got addicted, spent an ungodly amount of time eventually. I had nothing better to do simply put (yeah, my social life is boring ). I quit because I met a really nice girl.
I started playing again a few weeks ago, but I'm only going for the casual play. Do some quests, gank a few alliance, gather some herbs and so on..

I don't know if I'd go so far as to call it a "great game." It's an okay game that will suffice until we get either a ladder reset or D3. There's tons of stuff to do, so if one part doesn't appeal to you, just don't do it.

I agree. But since i cut myself off D2, I'm allowing myself some fun with WoW. It's fun to play a game just because I really want to and it's fun, not because of "oh god one more run, it HAS to drop this time!" :laugh:

WoW is great good and little to no hacks is the best part but back to the server question its to you which one you want Im on cenarius but this sever is a lot of the times maxed out.... but be prepared to play for a long time
