    Hi, I'm Jim Courier

I posted my age in a thread in the SPF. Then I went and found out who else was born on the same day of the same year, since there's a very good chance we were accidentally switched in the hospital, as happens so often in after-school specials and B-grade comedy movies.

It turns out I'm a pretty good tennis player.

    So who are you really?

Ummm, where have you been? I have always been one of the older members round here. Me and ScanMan I believe.

Edit: Whatever man, damn, like I actually read the original post that closely. Fine, some Ozzy named Missy Higgins and I share birthdays, whoopty doo.

    SPF?

I was born on December 9, 1981. I don't know how to find other people born the same day as me, but I've often been curious.

AAAHHH!!! Missy Higgins is kind of cute (although she should try wearing something other than a cardigan once in a while; we get it, you're a lesbian, sheesh...) but her songs make me want to smash her over the head with that collapsing piano.

Here. She's kind of like Alanis Morissette on Valium...

With more than 6 billion people on this planet between 1 and 67 (on average,) everyone is likely to share a birthday with 240,000+ other people (providing my math isn't wrong.)

But in case anyone actually gives a damn, my name is Adam Vite, I was born July 19th, 1985. I don't know who was born on my b-day, and I'd rather waste my time doing something else than find out who else was born that day.

Well, something like that is relative, so an actual estimate would be nearly impossible. Are local celebraties famous? If not, then what about regional celebrities? And what about national celebrities in smaller countries?

But even at 0.01%. it's still statistically probable that 24 "celebrities" share any given person's birthday (at least I think that's right, I'm getting too tired to count zeros.)

0.01% is 1/10,000 whereas 1/365 people will share a birthday with you. So that's about one in thirty people who'll share a birthday with a celebrity.

But with a world population of 6,600,000,000, 0.01% is 660,000 and that can't be right. There couldn't possibly be more than 10,000 celebrities. Even including minor ones.

    You decide.

I, like Raena, have no-one. I, however, will not be sad about this. It just adds to our uniqueness:wink3:

Again, it's dependant on your definition of celebrity. I could agrue that a town mayor is considered a celebrity (expeciallly in his/her town.) And if every town has a mayor, then that number alone would surpass 10,000 people.
