Decided to read through the Jason Bourne books, currently on the second one... just over 3/4 of the way through the book. Very different from the movies.

If you enjoy it, there's plenty of other Ken Follett &c. in the same vein.

Movie-wise, I thought Ronin made Matt Damon's Bourne series look like a string of wet farts.

So I recently ordered a 2nd hand copy of a book I only just heard about - Seventh Decimate: The Great God's War Book One. Really looking forward to reading a new series from Stephen R Donaldson.

The book arrived today. It is not a standard paperback, it is an "uncorrected bound proof". Potentially it is worth money, according to my friend Google.

That's really irritating because I just want to read the damned story. Why is nothing simple?

The Terror. Confusing & disjointed, far more so than the TV series (which I'm enjoying). Seems a bit of a slog, like Melville. Still, an enjoyable read so far.

I've read The Terror. Many years ago.

Quite enjoyed the Doc Palfrey books, in my youth.

Funny! At least when one reads something about "Amityville" there's a certain amount of continuity.

The Satanic Verses by Salman Rushdie. It is one of the hardest reads I've encountered but I'm past the first few pages and am understanding his style and it's good so far, interesting. I'm trying to take my time with it. Also, since I've been traveling a lot more lately, it makes for a great read on the plane for a couple of hours.

Unfortunately, I paused on Electric Sheep but hoping to pick it back up again sometime in the near future. :)

Just finished reading The Bourne Legacy Pretty good read, with the Bourne personality resurfacing in David Webb after he's attacked by a sniper on campus.

Didn't even know those were books. Never watched any of the movies either though.

I can't even think of any situation where that isn't true, so not surprising.
