Help with bowazon

I just remade my bowazon for the 2nd time because I was doing crappy damage because I mis-placed my stats for her.

Now this is the equipment I'm using:

Perfect GMB Faith
Soul Drainers
Fortitude
Dream Bone Visage
Raven/SOJ
Gores
Arach Mesh/Mara's
Also have a decent torch and anni

Now my resists are only 40+ in hell none maxed

Skills are:

20 Strafe
10 Multi (Level 22 with +Skills)
20 Guided
20 penetrate
1 Freezing arrow (14 with +)
the rest are just few points here and there in crit strike, dodge, etc..., but I think I've done the major ones correctly, putting one point in decoy and valkyrie for distractions.

I pumped about 55-60 pts into str to wear my archon fort and GMB, vitality is about 120-130 and the rest got put into Dex, Its 347.


My problem is I have no IAS and I can do fairly well in hell by myself, I don't kill as fast as my 11K dmg hammerdin but I can kill just about anything, just not quickly enough. My attack speed is also slow even with the faith compared to other amazons.

I don't understand why I'm not doing as much damage as other bowazons. I've seen others using windforce killing far faster than me in an 8 player game.

Whats up with my build? =/

My problem is I have no IAS

You already figured your problem out. If IIRC you should aim for at least 35 ias with a Gmb to hit a decent bp for strafe.


Perhaps a pair of Loh or rare/crafted gloves with 20ias and other mods.
Lose the soj for a dual leech with res.
Your also wearing a caster belt, so there is defiantly better options for you. Plus skills aren't gonna help your damage out all that much.
You could probally lose the dream for something else too. Tal helm is a decent bowie helm for cheap. It has some res and you could socket it with um or some kind of IAS jewel depending on your needs.

You should probally read one of the strafe guides found in the stickies.

20 penetrate

You should rebuild, those points are wasted since faith gives you so much AR anyway.

Also that high of a multi level might be to much, drain more mana then those extra arrows are worth in most cases, I'd recommend ~15ish after skills.

You need a merc to give you more damage. You need to pump dex high to gain more damage. You need to get hold of some +max charms.

But above all you really need more ias if you wish to make your multi work out well.

Hrmmmm, I think I have a nosferatu's belt lying around somewhere.

I don't see how crafted gloves will help much, just looked them up dont see any with IAS. The helm really isn't a problem unless I could find a circlet with +2 bow skills and some IAS but those get pretty expensive, because I really don't have much of an issue with leech. Any other boot recommendations or are gores the way to go? Thanks.

Hrmmm you may be right but I think the penetrate helps, without it and even with the faith I will only have about a 70% chance to hit most monsters in hell. I may re-roll now though as nosferatu's belt adds +15 str and still gives me the slow monster +10% I wanted.

when you craft gloves there's a chance you'll craft them with 20 ias. non of the crafts have ias inherent. you have a similar chance to get 20 ias on them as you do finding rares w/ 20 ias.

Level of your zon?

My AR increases from 7k to 22k if I throw on a faith, really can't believe you'd need penetrate anymore with that much of an increase. Only explanation I can see that your zon is rather low level, which would affect the chance to hit ... if that is the case you'll easily solve the problem by leveling some.

Try War Traveler, boosts damage quite a bit and has some mf. Gore vs WT is a quite common question so try both and see which one you prefer.
