Help Please - Cracked D2 Disk Problem :(

Ok so I got a new computer and want to start playing d2 again but the problem is the orginal play disk is cracked. The install disk and LoD disks are fine and I have the Cd keys too. My question is that is there any way for me to download the files from the original play disk so that I'm able to play?

Not legally no, you can return it to Blizzard and get a new one for I think 15 dollars.

    Complete ripoff, but hey.

Make backup copies of the CDs next time, heh.

Yea it is $10, and it sure as hell beats paying 20 at a store. Only draw back is the time it takes, and shipping, which would cost a lot on the east coast.

I thought the $10 covered the shipping charge. but im guessing you have to come up with the money for Shipping too? what a rip.

I saw some guys writing down the cd keys of this cd (D2) this weekend. I wonder if that is some hackers, that just got their cd key banned? but wouldnt they have to buy/steal the cd also? Casue they didnt.

If the Classic Install disk and the LoD disk are both fine, you shouldn't even need the Classic Play disk unless you want to play Classic.

But no, there isn't. To do that, you'd need to put the CD in the drive, and putting a cracked CD in the drive will make it fly apart and wreck your computer past repair.

You can crack the CD and burn it...or you can get a pirated already hacked version as a backup.

Wether its legal or not in your country, I don't know. It is here.

Sure you can ... ever since I read in the EULA that I can burn a backup/archival copy of my game ... I burnt up a copy of each. Good thing I did too ... my original play disk is all chewed up from my son teething.

Edit - By the way, send the $10 to Blizz ... they will send you a replacement. Took me 4 days I think? You pay for shipping there, they pay for return shipping. Or at least they did for me. I just put the CD, a money order and a little note in the USPS envelope when I sent it.
