Dude use a bow or throwing weapon. No joking eather. Like you could use a widowmaker, brand, kuko, Basicly any bow with all ways hits mod on it, exploding arrow, or guilded arrow. Then you can use a throwing weapon with a chance to cast amp damage on it. If your having trouble with damage from a bow do a fully up graded bow. But basicly pvp widowmaker, and pvm brand bow.
that said, summoner druid is not necessarily the most newb-friendly build, but very fun to play if your up to the challenge. Other than your summons, I might recommend a few options where your concerned.
1) get a good weapon and put a few points into the shifting tree. the extra life and bonuses from shifiting (i'd recommend bear due to shockwave and the life/dam bonus from the shift) will come in handy and you can assist your summons on the front line. carrying a buriza as your weapon in shift form is a ncie way to help with the PE's
2)or find a good ranged weapon. at the low end a kuko shukaku is a nice bow, with peirce (critical if your going this direction) and nice splash damage for fire. at the high end faith in an elite bow will add nice damage to your summons, and a good overall bow for your druid.
Either way good luck with your druid! If you run into frustrations, dont give up. the summoner druid can be tought to play... you might want to remake another, going the elemental route or a shifter with some minor summons...both lots of fun and easier to play up front.
