there is my MF stock that I use with my orb sorc

AVG MF per gear

ali baba ( no Ist in it at the moment ) 77

charm ~20

Total ~470MF
i think its better than nothing

i'm doing Meph Run and andy!

but there is nothing that drop in 10-15-20-25 games so its boring ....
where can i MF ?

is there any other place that i dont know, that i could try to mf ?
or do i need more mf or less?


does bliz sorc take less time to mf ?

act 1: mausoleum (near blood raven)

act 2: ancient tunnels (lost city sewers)

act 3: flayer jungle - there are lots of densely packed, mostly harmless monsters in this act

act 4: river of flame (from the first WP)

act 5: pindleskin (through anya's TP)

You could do well with less mf and more killing power to speed up runs. I personally shoot for 300 MF max, to be able to run bosses and clear areas quickly.
Faster runs = more items.
Also, don't be discouraged by spells of bad luck. As NF from the SP Forum said in one of his guides, try to not expect a lot of gold shakos, monarches, unearthed wands, etc., because it can get from fun to frustration easily. Try to enjoy the finds.

Hi, i've just started this game not too long ago...
I'm curious about the MF-ing...
Are the places you have listed in normal mode? nightmare mode? or hell mode?
Sorry for asking such a newbie question :nod:

hell mode.
as you have recently started, mf normal baal, then nightmare mephisto to get some items, then start to run the areas mentioned on the topic.

I would recommend nilhathak's temple as its alvl is 84 (TC is still 87 iirc)and you can get most of the decent items that you need with a VERY high concentration of monsters but a drop rate higher than that of cows. Worldstone keep is also my preferred area of mfing but without decent resists and equipt I would go elsewhere.

Check out Crypt also in the Burial Grounds.. its 84lvl place and right next to mausoleum. While you teleport around act1 to get to these places its nice to kill the bosses on the way.. at least the super uniques. They have gave me lots of uniques..

Oh act2 tele to summoner.. can drop you a key and he just dropped me Bonehew also..

act3 some of those temples are 85 lvl areas.. they are quite nasty tho.

act4 CS of course.
