Help Me With Fireclaw Bear

Im starting a fireclaw bear after my Zealot reaches lvl 85 (3 lvl's)
and get's 3 item's to him (Runemaster, Cta and a HoZ (last 2 for prebuff))

Now im thinking about maybe using:
Helm: Jalala's 5/5 Fire facet
Armor: Stone (should i stop at two synergies from stone or just keep putting point's and screw the synergie bonus?)
Boot's: Sandstorm's?
Gloves: umm maybe magefists?
Belt: Dungos or string?
Ring's: 1 raven and 1 Angelic Halo?
Amulet: Angelic Wing's?
Shield: Stormshield with hel or a 5/5 Facet?

Charm's : Shapeshifting?

what should i socket it with?

my favorite way to equip one:

faceted jalas
enigma/coh (either has 8% dr)
ber stormshield (opens the belt slot, give you max dr with nig/coh)
eth treks (you now have the BP for FHR in wolf form, or one 5% small charm gets you to the fhr bp on bears)
upgraded magefists
arachnid mesh belt
magical amulet with +3 shapeshift/80+ life or a chromatic (res all) mod
2 bk rings for vs casters, or two high ravenfrosts for melee
10 shape charms with life
9 ar/life small charms
annihilus
prebuff weapon: mang songs lesson
main weapon: phase blade with 4 shaels, 2 15% ias jewels with either resists or ar on them

1 point oak sage, 1 point lycanthropy, max fire claws and as many synergies as you can get. (getting armageddon isn't a bad idea either)


This gets you to ~18k damage with the raven frosts and about 20k with the bk rings
you should end up with about 5k life and 20k ar or so as well.

imo facet the ss and wear verdungos
get a 10/40 verdungo coz vit is more important than dr because you already have 43 from nig/coh and ss.
inkanddagger mentioned arach:
1. the slow is bm
2. i'd rather 40 vit, 10 fhr and a facet than the +1 skill from arach.
if you do decide to ber the ss, i'd go for trangs belt rather than arach.
this way you dont have to wear a ravenfrost and can wear a bk~+1 skill.

for melee duels: definitely use angelic ammy/angelic ring/ravenfrost
you need the AR! also buff with an enchant from demon limb- very useful!

for most caster duels: use 2xravenfrost/metalgrid. or ravenfrost/bk/metalgrid.

inkanddagger says to use +3 shape ammy -but imo you dont need the extra damage.most sorcs, trappers, etc you will kill in one hit even with ~15k damage. unless they have very good resists and life.

if you are versing a sorc,etc use ravenfrosts/wisp/dwarf/nozokan/metalgrid
but dont over do it bcause thats just lame.
for caster duels i usually use wolf form and buff with feral rage for the extra fastrun/walk. a bear without enigma is just too slow...

your other queries: never use string anymore if you have a verdungo to use. leach does basically nothing in pvp.
treks all the way. i use a nice eth pair but some ppl use waterwalks.
coh and enigma are both better than stone if you can afford.
about the weapon...if you are super rich and patient just get two pbs. one with +30 resist all and one with +150-210 attack rating.
imo if you can only get one get the attack rating one.

im grateful for the answers and im going to do a mix between your suggestion's and take the arach socket ss with a 5/5 and some sort of amu

i hope that's good? maybe 14-15k dmg and still good life etc?
(just estimated)
