Help me tweak my MF light sorc

Hi... I'm trying to figure out the best gear setup for my light sorc. In particular I am having trouble getting my resists maxed while keeping up the other stats I want.

I have good gear, but please don't take this as a brag post... I am really looking for advice/input from others on how I can tweak my gear around to get the most out of it.

Here's what I have:

helm: 19/10 griff's
neck: 26 maras
armor: enigma
weapon: occy
shield: spirit
belt: arachs
gloves: chancies
ring1: 14% all res/ 25% MF
ring2: 10% FCR, 35%ish fire/psn res, some str
boots: travs

I have an anni (12/12) and a torch (10/17), but no lightning skillers

This setup puts me around 300% MF (with gheeds and a couple 6-7% MF scs), over the 117% FCR breakpoint (think its at 118% exactly), and with +15 skills.

Unfortunately, my resists are not maxed in hell without the help of some charms. My resists are: 30% from anya quests, 26% from maras, 35% from spirit/fcr ring, 20% from occy, 14% from MF ring, 12 from anni and 17 from torch = about 54% to all (with psn maxed)

I hold 2 14% all res GCs to max them out, but they take up room I could use for skillers when I am able to get some

At lvl ** I don't yet have nova maxed, and my lightning does about 22k topend. I'd really like to get this up some, but I dont want to go under the 117% FCR bp or drop too much MF


So what can I do here? Inventory has 10 columns... -2 for cube/tomes, -1 for torch, -1 for gheeds, -2 for space to pick up 1 item... leaves 4 slots for GCs

right now I am using two up on res charms, but I think I could drop 1 and get a 7% large and put it in the same column as the torch... that would max it... but are there better options?

Even doing that only leaves me room for 3 skillers, which would put my damage up to about 26k...

Any ideas for how I can get the most out of what I have? I'm currently looking for 2 5/5 facets to put in my griffs and occy, so that will up it a little too

Also thought about using crescent moon but I think I'd lose too many +skills/FCR/res

Travs and Chancies are good (got both too), but I like to use rare boots/gloves to fix resist.
For example currently using these mf boots/gloves in my sorc.
20 run 10Light 35Fire 26Poison 25mf boots and
24Light 28Fire 15mf gloves. Also socketed my occy with 5mf 28fire resist jool.

Those 7mf sc if with resist are good source too.

I use shako when doing mf runs, -5 socketed griffon in stash when doing exp runs. For exp runs, I only care about speed, then CM, Griffon,+3L 10 fcr amu etc... and 117fcr. In exp run I have only max L-resist, other resist I dont care.


Use CM only if you want to kill fast.

well you could always try the old prebuff-with-treachery trick, but I'm not sure if that'd be defeating the purpose of running faster. And, of course, wielding an Infinity will pretty much double your lightning damage since you get Conviction and -55% LR to all your targets, which I think makes up for the +5 skills, FCR, and resists you give up from no Occy+Spirit....
