Help me think of a song name

This song must have been from the mid 90s or so (I think, but I'm pretty sure it was the 90s) and has this woman talking/singing sorta disinterestedly "do do doo do / do do doo do / do do doo do doo do doo do" and maybe there's something about coffee shop or a counter or something I remember a c word as part of it... not as a significant part probably, but only what I remember.

Sorry this is really cryptic but it's driving me crazy.

Pop, rock, country, top-40 type stuff? Need more information than this. :p

I never would have guessed that one in a million years.

    Barcode Brothers - Doo Doo

Edit: Matches the "lyrics", right? :p

Edit2: Is it a female or male who does the Doo Doo?

"I dont wannna wait for our lives to be over, want to know right now what will it be?"

After singing all the "do's" outloud in my most girly voice possible, it does sound like the Dawson's Creek theme song. Shame on us for knowing that, Devolution!

Yep...and what a diner it is. The lyrics:

    I am sitting
    In the morning
    At the diner
    On the corner

    I am waiting
    At the counter
    For the man
    To pour the coffee

    And he fills it
    Only halfway
    And before
    I even argue

    He is looking
    Out the window
    At somebody
    Coming in

    "It is always
    Nice to see you"
    Says the man
    Behind the counter

    To the woman
    Who has come in
    She is shaking
    Her umbrella

    And I look
    The other way
    As they are kissing
    Their hellos

    I'm pretending
    Not to see them
    Instead
    I pour the milk

    I open
    Up the paper
    There's a story
    Of an actor

    Who had died
    While he was drinking
    It was no one
    I had heard of

    And I'm turning
    To the horoscope
    And looking
    For the funnies

    When I'm feeling
    Someone watching me
    And so
    I raise my head

    There's a woman
    On the outside
    Looking inside
    Does she see me?

    No she does not
    Really see me
    Cause she sees
    Her own reflection

    And I'm trying
    Not to notice
    That she's hitching
    Up her skirt

    And while she's
    Straightening her stockings
    Her hair
    Is getting wet

    Oh, this rain
    It will continue
    Through the morning
    As I'm listening

    To the bells
    Of the cathedral
    I am thinking
    Of your voice...

    And of the midnight picnic
    Once upon a time
    Before the rain began...

    I finish up my coffee
It's time to catch the train

I LOVE THIS THREAD!!!!111!!!1! I have also been looking for the song name myself, but it would have been stupid for me to just say that the lyric of the song sings doo dooo doo, since majority of the songs can be hummed with the exact same phrase.
