Help me reactivating my Fc/Maul Hybrid

I build a FC/Maul Hybrid a month ago basicly because i found a 40cb IK maul.

I read a guide (its in german so nn to post here) and skilled following him:
-MAX FC
-MAX MAUL
-1Hunger
-1Shockwave

-MAX Firestorm
-MAX Fissure
-1Volcano

-1Oak
-1Carrion Vinde

+Skills to get the mentioned=1point.



For Equipement i though about IK Maul, boots, gloves, belt; Najs Armor, Jalals, 1xraven, 1xdual leech, Highlords.

He is lvl83now and well i have no probs in fighting normal enemies cuz of the shockwave.
But as soon as there is a champion or boss i canz stun it hits down my under 2k life very fast. Leech doesnt help though it should.

Do i do something wrong? I charge Maul and then hit with FC, between stunning the enemies with SW.

Any advise in Equip? i´d like to keep the IK Maul but i dont know what the best socketing is (at the moment it got 2xshael).
If other Equip beats IK set (or u think ik armor>najs) tell me, i could think about it.

I will give him some skillers this time to increase the fire damage, i just wanted an FC Bear who does some leech (i like leech^^) and can kill fire immunes with some phys damage by doing nice overall damage.

Although I made my FC/Mauler for PvP, to me the Damage difference between lvl 1 maul and lvl 20 isn't worth it compared to damage you gain from maxing another FC synergy. With a high damage 2 handed wep such as the IK maul it might be, though I still think it's not necessary.

hmm well thats what i think too now
Though its 200percent more addet damage and 3sec stun addet!

So if i want to play with a phys weapon like IK Maul it is worth it

If there are more meanings like this ill think about make a new one, and i wont do this got 2WW and a Windy to play

So gimme advise in how he can kick *** pvm wise

+if u should put the lasting 10points in lyk or in synergies for fc? (though i dont think ill play him to 93but this is how i calc most of my builds)

Replace Naj with IK Armor, that should do alot for your survivability.

With 1 point in shockwave you won't really need any more +stun and I don't think you would need to put any points in Lycan, and I think your FC damage should be fine to kill Non-Fire Immunes. So it's pretty much your choice. More life vs more damage. I myself would go for the more life, but I know some people would rather have the extra damage. Based on personal opinions.

Thx for the first opinions ill try the IK Armor (hope i can wear it...would -15/38ed be a good fill for the socket?^^) and then see.

Problem is that i throw away the IK stuff so ill have to buy it*g*

Right now you swing a good 8 fpa, which isn't horrible. However, if you socket a 15 ias/mod jewel in your helm or IK armor you can swing at 7 fpa. That's probably more valuable than any added damage :wink3:

...'cause with IK maul 'shael shael' you need 40% oias, you have +25% from your belt/gloves, so just one 15ias should do it.

Against big brutes rushing you, you'll need 1 point in grizzly bear. He'll help cushion all the damage focused at you. Get a A2 nm combat merc too if needed.

Well:
-Got a highlords at the moment so i got 45ias-->7fpa (slightly better, still "slow" against my fury wolves*g*)

-i tryed for fun WW with fireclaw and it worked decent too. So are all playing FC Wb only cuz of Shockwave?

-I dont know if the "hybrid" thing gets my anyting. Well i do 700damage more...but i have to take care that maul stays charged and it does take some time to fully charge it. If i compare with the damage 20points in synergies would give me i thikn this is a good question.

So im planning on get the hybrid up to 85and get him a +3Shape Amu and a 15ias/add jewel in and never play him again*g*
I dont like to start charas and then abandon them without Equip thats why hell get the amu first^^

The good thing is, that i could do Izual and hellforge quest with him so he rached the goal for mee to, though it was quiet hard cuz of some Champions around Izual

Think ill do a full Fireclawbuild with my bad 3sock tombreaver 3xshael in second slot for Immunes+Merc with Obedience
