Help me pick my next character :)

Hi gang. As some of you know, I'm one of those people who has more fun thinking up characters to play than actually playing them (which is saying a lot :) ). However, because of this, I normally have at about 10 active characters at a time. Right now, after deciding to retire my frenzy mace barb, spear WW barb, meteorb sorc, and defiant zealot, I'm down to 5 active characters (an LF/CS zon in Act 3 Hell, an eventual IK Conc barb in Act 2 Normal, a minionless Bonemancer in Act 1 Normal, my just-Patted fanatic zealot turned Countess-runner pally, and my Act 5 Hell Super Uniques running S/S WW barb) and have a ton of ideas for new ones. However, if I start all of them, I'll never make much progress with any of them. So, I'd like some help here. I'll let you, the SPF, vote on which of my planned characters I should play next, and this will be the ONLY character I play aside from the currently active ones. :)

I'm not making this a poll because I'd like to see write-in votes if you have them. One note: I prefer average-power builds. I like to be challenged without really handicapping myself, so no ridiculously overpowered builds like any kind of sorceress, fishymancer, hammerdin, etc., but also no staggeringly hard ones like boxing pally, throwmancer, dentist, etc.

Here's the current list of candidates:

1) Frost Ranger pally. Might merc, insane amounts of DEX for AR and damage, low STR and VIT. I'm starting to get more into ranged characters, and this one seems to be an interesting and offensively challenged version, but with some serious defensive upside thanks to the holy frost and all of the skill points that can be used on beefing up utility auras.

2) Jabazon using Stoneraven and backed up by unsynergized Charged Strike. One of my favorites from D2C, and it may be time for a comeback. A glass cannon, in that she can do awesome damage one-on-one, but is very fragile, forcing the use of tactics.

3) Two-handed Charger pally. Another glass cannon, although not quite as fragile as the zon, the need for running room creates its own challenges. Also an excuse to finally start using my Spire of Honor.

4) Avenger pally. Probably the sturdiest and most versatile of the lot, but also the latest bloomer. Can I stand to play him long enough to take full advantage of his skills?

5) Some kind of dual-claw assassin. I've never played an assassin beyond Act 1 Normal because of the annoying noises she makes, but being the proud owner of two Bartuc's and a Jade Talon, I'm tempted to give it a shot, provided I hit the mute button first. :D

Thanks in advance for any and all feedback.

My vote is for the dual-claw sin. And as to which kind...I would say a trapper or a MA sin (Duh!). BUt more specifically, lightning trapper, or PS sin. I have a PS sin that is claw/shield, but I dont know how one would fare with two claws. I have a dual claw lightning trapper also, and she is fun to play. Slapping down 5 LS's and watched them all shoot is cool :p As is throwing fire bombs for support.

They are both Mat'ted, so for fun factor, I would say...PS sin. I dont know if you could be convinced to switch to Claw/shield, cause that is fun, and you have blocking and resists, which help alot (more resists atleast). Dual claws would work too.

That is my vote

I vote for a dual-claw assassin. First, assassins are not overpowered, but they can effectively kill in any area of the game and they can bypass Iron Maiden with traps.

So I would say go with either a TS/DTail'er /w traps or a DTalon trapper. Both are very viable.

If your taste is shifting towards ranged characters, i think the Blade Fury assassin may be right up your alley.

Highlights:
- Excellent crowd control, thanks to Cloak of Shadows, Mind blast, etc.
- Uses equipment in an interesting way
- Fun, quirky, but not under-powered build
- The build is finished rather early in terms of skills, so it's not easy to get bored with it :)

There's an awesome guide for this sticked in the Assassin forum.

Take a gander for yourself. I'm having a blast with mine :)

Edit: forgot to add that you can make a Furysin claw/claw, claw/shield, or weapon/shield; it's all equally viable.
