How does one start a new character in multi-play? I logged on to battlenet and created the character - it has 0 exdperience. How do I gain some levels before trying to play this character against others?

deplete monsters healths and periodically check your status by pressing ''c''
until you are level 9. Then, you can fight other players if you are strong enough. So basically, kill stuff.

another option

Remember you can also join games and co-op, helping each other out gaining quests and items. It's best to find like-minded players to play with but that's why this board has the player match-up area. I personally don't duel, seems everyone out there dueling has such optimal gear I really can't compete.
