Help dueling WW barbs

I have a WW druid who uses fury/rabies in pub duels. I do pretty well with him since most people underestimate his power and I can generally kill casters with 1 or 2 hits with an ebotd gpa and don't have many problems with melee. The one char that I have problems with is WW barbs. I switch to ebotd zerker or 3 edias/lo caddy and an ss with max block and I hit with rabies then shift fury, but I usually end up getting killed. Should I try to run around more? Should I use the poleaxe and hope I hit him before he hits me? Any other suggetions? Thanks. :thumbsup:

Ww druids really haven't been succesful in killing ww barbs. I duel my friends ww druid with my 1.09 barb who didn't have max block but use a sheild and he couldn't hit me when I ww him. But when I used conc on him he end up killing me. U can kill a barb that using a 2-handed weapon or a barb using 2 weapons in each hand but I don't see ww druids beating a barb who Ww. I say u just avoid them or u could attack them when they bo.

Barbs are relativ easy to kill^
at the first switch to walk mode and rabie him, after that switch to run and run a bit
after some life drained - run to a place with an uneven terrain - so you can see there his whirlwind will be stop...time to shift fury there

ahh forgot -
always use ebotd and in slot2 do rabie boost (30% and -30% phaseblade +20% and -20% monarch)
but barbs arent too hard to kill -.-

The only other idea I had would be to summon 5 wolves and hope he hits them instead of me. I don't have any points in wolves yet so I'll level a bit and hope that works out I guess.

Wolves are useless vs a ww barb, since he ww's straight through them (and leeches a bit) and a werewolf can't minion stack.

Don't stand there to let him dod you. Rabies him, walk around him and try to avoid his ww's. Let rabies drain him and shift fury when he's low. Use ebotdz, you'll need the dmg and range.

So I can only have 1 wolf out at a time despite the fact that it is more than lvl 1? Also, do you mean ebotd zerker axe with ss or the ebotd poleaxe becuase I use both of them while dueling?

I've tried the rabie/run tatic, but so many ww barbs have enigma, they just tele to me and hit me with ww, which hurts even more since I'm running so I don't think that strat will work.

You can have more than 1 wolf out depending on your +skills, but they just won't help since a ww barb can ww straight through them right to you.

Use ebotd zerk and ss.

From my experiance dueling ww barbs in pub games using bramble+trangs with death's web and faceted monarch on switch pretty much takes down about anything. It's fairly simple to evade a wwing barb by walking around, if you run he's going to tele, but if you keep him in close proximity he should be fairly easy to avoid. Another tactic which is fairly risky, is to use ebotd gpa vs any dual-wielding barb (ie ebotd/beast, ebotd/doom), I've killed a few this way since they are much easier to actually hit with fury, this also works even better vs your standard pub ww asn.
