    Hello

Hello SPF. I have recently decided to switch from MP to SP and I have a few questions, but maybe I will tell you why I am here first.

I have played the Diablo series a bit longer then I would like to admit and I have loved every single second of it. Up until today I have never set foot into the realm of single player on account of the thoughts that it would be less intresting the MP. On MP I had accumulated a "fortune" of items. Since I had so many items it made MP a bit boring. After the 1.10 patch I switched to HC MP from SC MP, thinking that it would provide a bit more a challenge. But here I am, months later with three HC characters above 80 and every item I could possibly need. Needless to say, this was boring. So after giving all of my items away in a grand display of my godlyness( :D )I have come here. So here I am, about to start my Diablo career all over again with you all as my compaions(aren't you all lucky).

So I guess I will begin my questions now.

I plan on making a Barbarian as my first character. Do any of you know any effective builds for this character class? Also what types of merc's do you recomend for such a character? Thanks in advance.

I'm having a bit of brain fart at the moment and can't seem to think of any other questions. I guess thats all I have for now. Thanks again.

    hey there!!

good decision leaving Bnet for SP. Many of us did the same as you, had all items they could possible wish for and then saw something else in SP. Hope you will enjoy your stay :)
Oh and btw, i MP more here than i did on bnet :)

im really not the right person to ask about barb stuff since the only 1.10 barb i made was a IK barb but im sure someone else will fill you in on that.
I would definitely go with a might merc for most barb builds though.

    Welcome to the forums :)

My signature links to the SPF FAQ which is basically a list of different FAQS; for trading, 1.07, 1.09, SPF in general and so on, along with those there's the build guide list which has few nice barb guides aswel :)

I suggest looking them out and choosing the one that sounds the best for you.

I just read a bit of Repusz's guide to 1.07, Borlag. I may look into this a bit more.
    Seems very intresting.

Welcome to the SPF, hope you enjoy your stay :)

As for Bard characters, I'm currently playing a Swordbarb as a secondary character, and he doesnt seem to be having much trouble yet. I've twinked him abit with some low level Set's (Cleglaw's and most of Cathan's) which is probably helping, but I dont think he'd be having much trouble without. I plan on keeping my Rogue Merc till the end, since the ranged attack is a great help.

concentrate abrbs are good when synergized, and iron barbs (iron skin/nat res/shout/mastery) are fun to play. welcome to the SP world, where nothign is as it seems...

Hey there... I highly recommend ATMA, I figure I will just type it out fast first. Item muling jacked up a few notches. I hope you enjoy your single player life! Beserk is a beast nowadays I think, well, that's what I am using as barbarian. Ahh well, I will see you around.

Hey there! Welcome! SP has improved into such a level (which is now) that will staisfy your needs... simple questions about builds will be answered with a smile, muling is not a problem with ATMA (thanks to tenshi). :)

Being a barb, I would say it depends on what weapon first. And of course if you want to go cookie cutter or the non-conventional.. ;)

    Heya! :D

Welcome to the forums! Have a drink on me at the EMB, avoid the Giant Squid (he likes to eat forum posts, every so often), and just remember:

You can check out any time you like...but you can never leave! :p

There's also pinball, darts, and a claw machine (all of which are occasionally related) at the EMB, so come up to the lab and see what's on the slab--

    Waitaminit, wrong forum. Excuse me--

...so step over to the waypoint and head on over. Hope you enjoy yourself! :D

    hi and welcome.

you may want to try a bowbarian, but it may be a little difficult if you never player single player before.

from my experiences in single player....if you dont need a might merc for damage, then HF merc is always the best (it slows the monsters to a crawl)

    Anyways....welcome
