Welcome to the SPF, enjoy your stay.

Also.. for those rushing to ancients and getting endless baal runs, you should be level 24 before ancients. That way you become level 25 after it, and get WAY MORE experience per run :teeth: yeah Im getting fairly good at telling the amount of exp you get per run and what level you should be for certain runs.
Yeah, first some cow runs to lvl 25 :p

As for starter chars hammerdin or skellymancer are the easiest. They both can MF quite a bit too :)

Hello there!

Since you have received all the vital introductions(such as the kick to the shins :D )

I will only say that if you prefer a sorceress, a meteor+frozen orb one is quite effective. She is also well equipped(teleport) for magic finding.

I use players 8 all the time now, (well apart from on Hell difficulty), it makes that game that much more interesting as you get level ups more frequently.

So i started a fishymancer, and one thing with that player 8 mode on is that i get much more drops and massive exp, walking in dark woods right now and already lvl 13
Only found 3 rares though, and 1 10 fcr ring :)

edit: is it usefull to save up those chips i find?

Ah, so when one wolf left, another one joined. (Canis lupus is the scientific name for wolf).

Welcome!

Sure, chippies are useful. You can socket them into stuff for your merc, or cube them into better gems as soon as you get the horadric cube in act 2. And later, much later, when you are cubing up runes you'll need gems of all grades. Never hurts to keep them around.

Welcome to the forum!

Chipped gems can also be used to create small Rejuvenation Potions, in case you ever need them - 'standard' gems can be used to make Full Rejuvenation Potions (3 Health Potions + 3 Mana Potions + gem -> Rejuvenation Potion). They can also be used to create magic, socketed weapons if you play a weapon-using character (3 chipped gems + magic weapon -> magic, socketed weapon with new randomly-generated mods).

I recommend the giveaways if you want to start a more gear dependent build - but the people here are awesome, and we all love to help with builds and stuff :)
