Hello, I'm Agonas
I thought I might introduce myself to the druid community. It has been pretty lonely playing solo since I started back up with Diablo2 and I had a couple questions.
I haven't played DiabloII for 2 years since I started back up, but I had originally played it since release. Before that I had also played Diablo for a time. I've been a fan of WW druids since the release of the expantion, but I never heard of a rabies druid till I read about them in this forum and made one. I have only been playing for about 2 months, but I curently have a lvl 68 poison necro and a lvl 78 rabies/fury druid. I also managed to get my hardcore druid killed at lvl 65 by nightmare cows.
I had 2 major questions. Can a max block fury/rabies hybrid kill ubers as well as a pure fury druid, and how have you all conducted your trades? Is it best to trade on DiabloII.net, or in-game somehow?
I'm Agonas on USWest. Feel free to say hello or whatever. If you'r smart enough to read the Diabloii.net forums, I'd bet it would be a pleasure to meet you.
I'm doing better than I thought in Hell difficulty. I curently have an uber 151% ed Jalal's Mane, an uber +153 AR Raven Frost, Trang gloves, IK boots, and even a Lionheart Dusk Shroud. I wonder how much a 3 socketed dusk shroud, a Lum and a Fal might have gotten me... but theres something special about using things you found yourself, and I wanted the str so I could use IK boots.
So far I have just maxed Lycanthropy, Poison Creeper, Rabies, and Fury... I have yet to decide if I want a spirit or max werewolf.
Edit: I forgot I also wanted to ask... Is a Shael in a Ribcracker really all that necesary? I imagine I wouldn't be using it in PvP, and I also imagine I wouldn't be using Feral Rage to kill things as a rabies/fury hybrid, so as a PvM weapon, using fury, wouldn't a Ribcracker be best if socketed with a Ber, Ohm, or Lo? It seems like your getting 1 frame per 5 attacks if you use just a Shael or 15% IAS jewel.
