    Hello D2 Hardcore again

    Yo HC D2 community,

    I used to post here a loooooooong time ago, is there any oldies out there that remember me? If so give me a shout, I'm just learning the ropes all over again and showing my son how to play the game in softcore. Ya , Ya, I know :rolleyes: ... I didn't want him to get discouraged to quick.

    well beth has been out of the game for ages as far as i know, gat doesnt exist on east atm, we tried reviving it for a bit, but it wasn't to be, i'd recommend op xbananax it's where many old gatters and forumers hang.

    Hey Zappa , wow still wrangling in the hard core ruffians. :thumbsup:

    I'm still not totally ready for HC yet, I need to get my son used to the potion mashing skills.

    I've been all over the MMORPG seen and back, there just isn't anything that really kept my interest. World of Warcraft... ack, ya lets form huge parties and spend hours getting to a boss that may drop something cool for one person. :undecided:

    Here's a question for some of you who know the game in this new patch...
    Whats the safest HC character to have right now? I'm looking for a character that will help me get back on my feet item wize, meaning quick MF runs on NM Meph/shenk. Mainly interested in survival rating over killing speed with this first character.

    As for jaffy's dueling skills, let's just say he spent a couple of days putting together a kicker and lost her within about 30 seconds or less on the first duel.

    Are you and your son playing on the same account/computer?

    NO, we have two PC's and two accounts. Running all private games right now in SC (poo poo). I mentioned HC to him and he seemed interested, he hasn't died yet and we just cleared act2 normal clawviper temple.

    Well, the safest, as people would likely say, would be a summoner. I'm more a fan of Trappers, though. They can stay back a ways, lay traps, and watching things die from afar. Also, fade is a nice bonus since you're item deficient, and likely will need resists. They are also fairly easy to gear up just by shopping for a high energy wand and socketables for saphires.
