Hello, I have just recently purchased the game and so far I'm very impressed although im not too sure what character to start off with, at the moment I have a Lvl 9 Druid who is using Firestorm and Molten Boulder is that a good choice?

If you like the fire spells in the Druid tree, be sure to stick with them: if you spread your skills around, rather than specializing, your character will at some point get in way over his head. Molten Bolder is about the coolest looking thing in the game! Good choice!

anything is a good choice if you are having fun

Realize that you will probably not be able to build an uber character on your first try; I know i didnt. Play something the way you enjoy. I started by playing a barbarian, because im very melee oriented in my playstyle. Also, if you find out you really like the game, you will be building many many characters, so dont feel like this is "the one".

Enjoy the story this first time through; I know a lot of people on the boards would kill to be back in your shoes (Experiencing DII for the first time)

First thing u should probably aim for is to get some wealth, I would go for a cheesy cookie cutter build , like a Hammerdin or Dual tree sorc so as you can goto hell difficulty and magic find gear for your new characters.

Once u have a good selection of gear then I would build some challenging builds....
