    Hellforge Hammer Repair?

Does repairing the hellforge hammer before you break the stone, give beter runes or not? I don't get it, I don't think it does, but some people do.

It does nothing at all other than waste gold. The rune that drops is completely random and chosen from a set of 11 runes depending on which difficulty. The breakdown is this:

    Normal: El-Amn
    Nightmare: Sol-Um
    Hell: Hel-Gul

So your chances for any specific rune are always the same, 1:11.

    Hope that helps.

I'd say you make one! :)
Nah, but honestly, its a great idea, since people tend to ask the same things over and over, and quite often, its rumors...

At least, I can help you with the first two places.

    1. Full tome of townportal means more cows, right? (back in .09, this was THE rumor!)

    2. Ladder will end at [insert upcoming date here] (explains itself by browsing these forums... )

    Right so far?

there was antoher post or another forums somewerher that i read you can get vex+ from forge but the likely hood is like 0.00001% to get it, and just add one more 0 as you go up on rune,

Repairing the hammer won't have any effect, but it won't cost much anyway, so if if it makes you feel better (which is the purpose of playing games), do it !

HF cannot produce Vex+, period. The chance isn't 0.00001%, it's exactly 0%. However, Hephastos is a very good rune dropper and he can drop any rune in the game, but it's not worth hunting him just for that - killing 25 monsters in the River of Flame (a L85 area BTW) will give you a higher chance for getting a HR.

Actually, River of Flame is an alvl 85 area, so all the monsters there can drop your favorite highrunes...

The chat gem effects should be added to that rumor list. And that "nooo KING in prty" idiot-rumor. 95% of people never get their cowlevelstuff right.
