where can i find the chances of runes to drop from hell hellforges?
-also, wheres the best place to get nice runes (where there is no LI monsties)

iirc, the chances are equal from hel to gul.

undead supposedly have a higher chance to drop gems/jewels/runes, so maybe a1 catacombs or the crypt (in the burial grounds.)

whats iirc, and i dont think so because im always getting lums lems and 1 pul from 10 hell hellforges (and ofc hel )

The chances are equal, it just doesn't always seem like it

Best place for rune hunting... Arcane Sanctuary (can't drop all runes though), River of Flame (best droppers are LI though), the Countess' Tower (LIs there too), or the Crypt.

Specifically, Ghost/Gloam type monsters have the best rune drop chances. Other undead have the same chance as the monsters around them, I think.

i suppose it doesn't matter, but the R stands for 'recall'

tip for runehunting is killing tonnes of monsters. anywhere where it's creature-heavy would be a good place (eg flayer dungeon, frigid highlands) as far as i know

If you're trying to avoid lightning immunes, go with the Arcane Sanctuary. Nothing there (except those occasional unique monsters and the lightning 'towers') is lightning immune. And there are tons of those specters/ghosts, too. The only drawback is that if you kill one of those ghosts off of the 'path' (which is *very* likely, considering the 'path' is mostly very narrow), they can't drop anything.

But Arcane is the best IMO, just because of the no LI's, and the three areas of 3+ chests which usually give you lots of drops. I got an Um from the Arcane just the other day.

Flayer Jungle is a nice place to drop a lot of monsters in a short period of time. I haven't gotten any good runes that way (Hel was best) but I got several uniques and sets from not too many runs.

Strafezon was the char I used for this, an excellent choice.
